CurlyFrog and The Blues Bringers
Curly Frog & the Blues Bringers started January 2012 in Trento, Northern Italy.
Their name comes from Muddy Waters’ “After Rain” LP cover: their story leaps from that legendary frog. Their music focuses on blues, rock ‘n roll and jazz: all genres revisited in the name of creative freedom and improvisation risk.
In October 2012 they won their first prize at “CoverOltreFestival” in Trento with three Ray Charles Robinson’s covers. In Summer 2013 Curly Frog & the B.B. record their first album “Bluesabilly” including four original songs and six great 50’s hits.
In February 2015 they flew to Berlin and recorded at “Lightning Recorders” (a unique vintage studio) their second CD called “OWT” with 14 original tracks.
In October 2015 they won the first prize at “Music 4 the Next Generation” music award playing an original arrangement of the 5th Hungarian Dance by J. Brahms with the “Haydn Orchestra”.
